Is your jewelry nickel free?
Yes, all alloys we use are free from nickel. Most components used in my designs are either sterling silver, brass or copper.
ORDERS & ORDERING
Items that are available for pre-order are not available for immediate shipping, and usually have a ship by date(s) in the item description. If a pre-order item is purchased along with other items, your order will ship once the pre-order is ready to ship. If you need an item sooner, please split your purchases into multiple orders.
We give out coupon codes often because we love you all so much! Though, there are some rules regarding their use.
Coupons are non-transferable and valid 1x per customer on eligible products (some exceptions apply). These promotions may not be combined with other discounts (including sale prices unless otherwise noted) or promotion codes in one order. Coupon codes cannot be used to purchase gift cards, and are not valid on past orders or custom orders/items.
Where do you or don't you ship to?
We do ship to other countries, but the shipping is expensive. Please email your inquiry to email@example.com for the current shipping rate to your destination. Also, if purchasing from outside of the US please understand that you are responsible for knowing the customs restrictions for your country. We are not responsible if your item is stopped in customs because it is not an item that is legal to enter your country. WE ALSO MUST STRESS THAT THERE IS NO WAY FOR US TO KNOW WHAT IMPORT TAXES YOU MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE TO PAY ONCE YOUR PACKAGE REACHES YOUR COUNTRY! Some countries don't charge an import tax on certain goods, some do. There is no way that we will know this information. If you have any concerns about import tax check with your country's import tax department. They can tell you what taxes (if any) you may need to pay to receive your item.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We only accept PayPal and credit cards if purchasing from the web store, but if you're interested in an alternate payment method just contact us.
How long before my order ships?
You will receive a confirmation email once you complete your order and another email once your order ships. Due to the nature of the product and the volume of orders we unfortunately cannot offer updates through each step of the creation process. You are welcome to email us if you have any questions about your order. We ship USPS Priority. Items made to order, can take 4-6 weeks to ship. Production time does not include weekends, holidays or shop vacations. Please understand that I'm only a one-person crew and I work super hard to make your items just right, quality takes time. If you need your order urgently or by a specific date, please contact me PRIOR to placing your order to make sure we have the stock on hand to ship immediately.
DOMESTIC orders are shipped USPS priority and include insurance. If your item is lost or damaged in transit please contact USPS to start a claim, we are not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit.
INTERNATIONAL orders have several shipping options, USPS International First Class being the least expensive, though it's tracking service is only available while the parcel is in the US. Once it leaves the US it is usually not able to be tracked. If you choose this service once it leaves the country there are no guarantees or refunds for lost packages.
We do offer UPSP Global Express, which is more expensive but is more secure and tracking is much more advanced.
We are not responsible for any items that may get stuck in transit or customs. If you need an item by a specific date or time frame CONTACT US (especially if you are outside of the US). We will do everything in our power to make sure your item arrives by that date. Any questions regarding your order can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I cancel my order once I've placed it?
If you feel the need to cancel an order, please email us. Please also note that there is a 25% cancellation fee for all orders that are cancelled in full by the customer. This is non-negotiable and includes anything made to order including sterling/bronze jewelry.
What size ring should I order?
If you are unsure of your ring size please visit your local jeweler to have your finger sized. This is a free service and will ensure a perfect fit. We are not responsible for incorrect sizes being ordered.

What is your return policy?
We accept returns on most items in their original condition within 7 days of delivery, except vintage and antique items. Read item descriptions for vintage/antique items carefully. All vintage/antique items are sold AS IS, we try to describe these items in as much detail as possible but due to the nature of these items they are not eligible for refunds. Please keep in mind that all handmade items will have imperfections, and vintage/antique items can have some wear. Check each item description carefully or ask questions before buying. We want you to be happy! :) Refunds will be in the form of original method of payment, less shipping. Buyer is responsible for return shipping. There is a 25% return fee for for item(s) eligible for returns.
How do I make a return?
Just shoot us an email with in 3 days of receiving your order and the reason for your return, and we'll take it from there. Again items must be in the ORIGINAL CONDITION that was mailed out to you. Items returned must be received within 7 days of receipt. After the 7 day period has elapsed I can only offer a store credit for the returned item up to a period of 6 months.
I strongly recommend using a tracked service, I cannot accept responsibility for returned items lost in the post.
If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value, and the item is not eligible for returns, exchanges, refunds or credits.
Note: If an item breaks due to rough handling, (i.e. necklace/bracelet gets caught on something and breaks or an adjustable ring/cuff is open/closed repeatedly and obtains stress cracks or breaks apart), are not eligible for returns, exchanges, refunds or credits.
Note: Packages arriving unannounced will be automatically refused and returned to the sender.
What is your repair policy?
I do offer repairs. If something goes wrong with your jewelry contact me. Depending on how long you’ve had the piece, and the nature of the repair needed. (Please note some repairs may require a fee.) I cannot repair where the original stone or setting has been completely lost or damaged. Antique and Vintage components are irreplaceable should they break or become damaged.
How do I care for my new jewelry?
Here are some care tips to help you enjoy your jewelry for decades to come. As with all handmade and one-of-a-kind jewelry, utmost care should be taken to keep jewelry clean and dry. Never wear your pieces while bathing, swimming, or washing dishes to avoid having them submerged in water. Bones and stones are porous and susceptible to become weak when they get wet. Metals can tarnish and lose their patinas more quickly if they get wet or washed with chemicals frequently. Also, please remove your pieces before any strenuous activities as they are fragile and parts could be knocked loose or fall out. Treat your jewelry like the unique piece of art that it is and it will remain in good condition for ages.
What do I do if I have an issue with my order?
If you have received your order and believe the item is incorrect or need to discuss any issues with your item, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will do everything in our power to correct any issues or mistakes that may have been made by us.
Do you offer your products wholesale?
YES! Just email us at email@example.com with your inquiry.
Why is your jewelry so expensive? I know how much "x" metal costs per ounce and you are way over charging.
This is a heartbreaking question to hear, as it really devalues our work we put into our art. If you catch yourself thinking this about our jewelry, please read on before making a rude comment.
First, we do not pay market price for our metal. Our suppliers do, and then sell it to us at a mark up because we are a small business and cannot afford to buy in huge bulk quantities. The price we are asking for our artwork is based on much much more than the cost of the metal used. When you buy an item from us you are buying our time (time spent crafting and designing and polishing and setting gems, time spent photographing items, making listings, editing photos, answering emails, posting and replying on social media, packing orders, making molds, etc), our long days and nights of labor and our burnt fingertips and aching hands. You are buying the molds we destroy and replace to ensure each ring is just as perfect and detailed as the last (some rings have a new mold for each cast, did you know that? We are only one person and I spend every waking moment running my business to ensure my jewelry and artwork is worth every dime I ask for it.
When you purchase a piece of art from me you are getting more than just a piece of metal. You are buying weeks of work, a lifetime commitment to make sure you are always happy with your jewelry, and a piece of artwork you can cherish forever.
Packaging and Presentation
I decorate all of my own packaging using Eco-friendly materials whenever possible. Every item will arrive carefully gift wrapped by me.
Dream Circle Spirit Beads arrive with their own article describing what they are and suggestions for their use.
I encourage you to reuse or recycle all of my packaging items.
Where do you acquire the bones for your pieces?
We get our animal bones and parts from sources like Paxton's Gate, natural history museum stores, pow wows and other various places. We always make sure they were ethically sourced and are from naturally deceased animals. We only use one of the bones/skulls/series of claws and make a mold from it to do all of our castings. The mold is injected with wax and then we use those in the "lost wax" casting process. There isn't actually a bone in our finished product, it's all sterling silver, or bronze.
Also used for some of my pieces is PMC clay to make direct imprints from nature. This direct mold is then fired in a kiln. Pieces made this way are one of a kind and are either .999 pure silver, copper or bronze pieces. Many of my Dream Circle components made for my Spirit Beads are made using PMC Clay.
